553 <br /> <br /> The Board of Cabarrus County Commissioners met at their regular monthly meeting on <br />January h, 1960 at the Cabarrus County Courthouse at 10:00 A M with the following members <br />present: <br /> <br /> Chairman: W.Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Commissioners, L.Bowman Barrier, W. ~uy Isenhour, P.Ernest Stallings, and M. Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Motion by M. Smoot Lyles seconded by W.Guy Isenhour that the followin§ road petitions <br /> <br />be approved and mailed to the State Highway and Public Works Comm. in Albemarle, N.C.: <br /> Townships 8 and 9 - Cauble road No. 2616 - }i~ard surface. <br /> <br /> Williamsburg Road, Lancelot Drive and Phtldale Drive - Put on System and maintain <br /> Maple Drive and Oak D~ive and Willow Drive - l~t on S~stem and maintain <br /> <br /> Motion by P.Ernest Stallings and seconded by M. Smoot Lyles that permission be <br /> granted to the United Church Women of Concord, N.C. to have a tree planted on the lawn of <br /> <br /> the Courthouse to shelter the Bible which is placed on t he courthouse lawn. The plantin9 <br /> of the tree is to be done under the supervision of Mr.W.Guy Isenhour. <br /> <br /> There being no further business, the Board adjorned to meet at their next regular <br /> <br /> meetin§. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
