Frank McCray-presented ~%he_:.f61,Zowin9 resolution: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECREASI NG THE NUMBER OF OOMMISSIONERS FOR THE PARKWOOD SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, THAT I~tEREAS, two of the Commissioners of the Parkwood Sanitary District <br /> have resigned; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 130-126 provideg for only three members on a <br /> Sanitary District Board unless said Board shall he increased hy resolution of the Board of <br /> County Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all projects of the Parkwood Sanitary District ~ave now been fully completed and <br /> said District is operating in an orderly and satisfactory manner; and <br /> <br /> WHERF~, only three individuals have filed as a canidate for election as a Commissioner in the <br /> Parkwood Sanitary District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, State of North Carolina, are <br /> of the opinion that it would he in the best interest of the taxpayers and residents of <br /> Parkwood Sanitary District to decrease the number of said governing body to three members <br /> authorized and provided by North CarolimGeneral Statutes 130-126. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the Parkwood Sanitary District he <br /> and the same is hereby decreased from five (5) members to three (3) members as provided by <br /> North Carolina General Stat tes 130-126 each of whom shall he a resident wSthin the Parkwood <br /> Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> UDon motion of Commissioner Guy Isenhour, seconded by Commissioner, ~Bowman Barrier,the <br /> fo}egoin9 resolution entitled "RESOLUTION DECREASII~3 THE NUMBER OF OOMMISSIO~RS FOR THE <br /> PARKWOOD SANITARY DISTRICT" was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: W.
