<br /> W. Frank McCray, M.Smoot Lyles, C.Frank James, C. McNeil Petrea and Oren J Hill.

<br /> Motion hy C. McNeil Petrea, seconded by W.Frank McCray that C. Frank James he nominated

<br /> Chairman of the Coh~t.rus County Commissioners and also/ purchasin9 agent for the county.
<br />
<br />~his was voted on and carried.
<br />
<br /> Motion by Oren J. Hill and seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that C. McNeil Petrea be made
<br /> Vice Chairman of the Cabarrus County Commissioners. Votes on and ~arried.
<br />
<br /> Motion by C. McNeil Petrea seconded hy Oren J Hill that 'the nomination of James E
<br /> Roberts, County Solicitor and J. H. Harward, Auditor he nullified.
<br /> Voted For- Oren J Hill, C McNeil Petrea and C. Frank James
<br />
<br /> Voted Against- M Smoot Lyles and W. Frank McCray
<br />
<br /> ihe vote "Fpr" carried.

<br /> Motion hy Oren J Hill, seconded hy McNeil Petrea that W.S.Bogle, he appointed
<br /> Solicitor for Cabarrus County Court. This was voted on and aarried- the vote ]~eing. ~inam~nous.

<br /> Motion hy M.Smoot Lyles, seconded by C McNeil Petrea that the following resolution Was
<br />~pproved:

<br />~hereas, the Cabarrus County Bar Association, throu9h one of its Committees, has recommended to
<br />~he Board of County Commissioners that a Small Claims Docket be maintained in the Superior Court
<br />)f Cabarrus County, North Carolina, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1, Article 43A
<br />)f the General Statutes of North Carolina entitled "Adjudication of Small Claims ~n Superior Court"
<br />~nd Whereas, the Board is of the opinion that the maintenance of a Small Claims Docket in the
<br />{uperior Court of Cabarrus County will expedite the trial of the Superior Court Civil Issue Docket;
<br />~w, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commisson for the County of Cabarrus that sai,
<br />~oard does hereby adopt theprovisions of Chapter 1,Article 43A of the General Statutes of North
<br />~arolina entitled "Adjudication of Small Claims in Superior Court".
<br /> This resolution was voted on and aarried. The vote being unaminous.
