The Cabarrus County .Board of Commissioners met at a call meeting on Thursday, June 6, 1963, <br /> <br />at 7:30 P.M. at the Cabarrus County Courthouse. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman, Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Oren Hill, Smoot Lyles, McNeil Petrea, Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James, who read a telegram from N. E. Cannady in Raleigh, <br /> <br />authorizing B. T. Barnhardt to act on a temporary basis as Cabarrus County's Electrical Inspector.~ <br /> <br /> Motion by McNeil Petrea, seconded by Oren Hill to appoint B. T. Barnhardt for 30 days as <br />temporary Electrical Inspector. Vote carried unaratmously. <br /> <br /> There was a discussion of different budgets with the following department heads present: <br />Ralph Litaker, Tax Sul~r~i. sor, Gice tgllen, Tax Collector, J. B. Roborts, Sh~rriff, g3.fred Hurt, <br />County Accountant. <br /> <br /> Lyles made motion, seconded by McCray to ask State I~gislature for a $500 increase for <br /> <br />J. B.
