Sanitary District on the 24th day of June, 1963, has been received by the Board of Commissioners <br />for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Sanitary District Board ~of Parkwood Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> Section One. That the Sanitary District Board has determined and does hereby find and declarel: <br /> <br /> (a) That the funds available from surplus operating revenues as provided by G.S. 130-1~ are <br /> <br />not sufficient for the payment of interest and the retirement of the District's bonds. <br /> <br /> (b) That the assessed valuations of the property within the limits of the Parkwood Sanitary <br /> <br />District amount to approximately One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Dollars. <br /> <br /> (c) That a levy of Fifteen Cents per One Hundred Dollars valuation will produce approximately <br /> <br />Eighteen Hundred Dollars revenue. <br /> <br /> (d) That barring unforeseen and unanticipated expenses the additional sum of Eighteen Hundred <br /> <br />Dollars shottld be ample to meet all obligations of the District during the fiscal year 1963-1964. <br /> <br /> Section Two. That the Secretary of the Parkwood Sanitary District Board certify to the Board <br /> <br />of County Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that the Parkwood Sanitary District <br />Board has determined that a levy of Fifteen Cents per One Hundred Dollars valuation of property <br />within the District's limits is necessary to raise the amount needed to meet the current obligation~ <br />of said District, and request that said amount be included in the next annual levy to be determined <br />by the Board of County Commissioners and collected as other County taxes as provided by G.S. 130-14h. <br /> <br /> On motion of Commissioner Frank .McC. ra~ . . ., seconded by Commissioner Oren.Hill .., the <br /> <br />foregoing resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION PROVIBING FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE PARKWOOD SANITARZ <br /> <br />DISTRICT" was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Frank McCray, Smoot Lyles, Oren Hill, McNeil Petrea, Frank James <br /> <br /> Noes: none <br /> <br /> The following good and lawful citizens were drawn for jury duty during the month of August, 1953: <br /> 1st Week <br /> <br />Lloyd C.
