The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at their regular meeting Monday, December 2, 196~ <br /> at the County Courthouse. <br /> <br />~__. Present: Chairman, Frank James <br /> Commissioners, Oren Hill, McNeil Petrea, Smoot Lyles, Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Meetin~ called to order by Chairman James. Prayer by Rev. W. L. McBath. <br /> <br /> The annual audit of Clerk of Courtts office was sulm~itted by Dave Ratchford. He <br /> requested the ad to ,run in the paper on December 13th. McCray made motion, seconded by Petrea <br /> to accept the clerkts audit. Vote carried. Lyles made motion, seconded by Petrea to adopt <br /> resolution for Clerk of Court to collect $1.00 to be taxed a~ainst each defendent, under <br /> Section h-A, G.S. 15-5. <br /> <br /> Mr. Goodman, of the Winecoff Volunteer Fire Dept., discussed siren equipment which has <br /> not operated correctly. New Motorola equipment has been installed. Mr. Goodman was instructed <br /> to return old equipment and get refund. <br /> <br /> The minutes were read by Cloie Hancock and stand approved. <br /> <br /> McCray made motion, seconded by Petrea that the Christmas holidays for the county <br /> employees are to be December 24,25,26th and also New Years Day. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> McCray made motion, seconded by Lyles to subscribe to County Information Service.
