The iollovin~ resolution v~s introduced and readt <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Kannapolis City Board o£ Educstion~ <br /> Section 1. The ~nbers of the l~annapolis City Board of Education, <br />through its surveys, and surveys m~de by the Institute of Goverr~ent o£ <br />the University o[ North Carolina, has determined and found as a [act that <br />adequate school £acilities are not nov available in the ltsnn~polts City <br />Administrative Unit to comply vith the constitutional requirement [or the <br />maintenance o[ schools six months in each year, and that it is necessary <br />in order to m~lntain such six monthst school term in said Unit to erect <br />an additional school plant facility and _r~___del and enlarge extetin~ <br />school buildin~s and acquire necessary land and equipment there£ore, the <br />estimated cost o£ ~hich is $1,500,000. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Board o£ Cc~niseioners £or the County o£ <br />Cabarrue is requested to ~ake all necessary steps, by the issuance o£ bonds <br />or otheretse, in order that such school £acilities may be provided. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
