The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at a call meetin9 Friday, July 2h, 196h at ?sOO p.m. <br /> <br /> at the Courthouse. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman, C. Frank James <br />f Cam~issi°ners, Oren Hill, Frank McCray, McNeil Petrea <br /> Absent: Commissioner, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James. County Accountant, Alfred Hurt, reviewed <br /> the 1964-65 budget. Petrea made motion, seconded by McCray to adopt the 1964-65 budget and <br /> set the tax rate at $1.10 per hundred. Vote carried. (copy of budget ~hown at end of minutes) <br /> <br /> Hill made motion, seconded by Petrea to adopt the resolution settinfl the tax rate for <br /> the Ro~ml Oaks Sanitary District at $ .65 per hundred. (See resolution on pages 288 & 289) <br /> Vote carried. <br /> <br /> Petrea made motion, seconded by Hill to grant the Cabarrus County Fair permission to <br /> display fireworks for said fair September lh-19, 196h.
