- RESOLUTION SETTI~ THE TAX RATE <br /> THE ROYAl, OAK~ ~ANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Coa~ntssioners for the County <br /> <br /> of Cal~rrus ~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Con~nisstoners has received <br /> <br /> the followir~ resolution from the Board of Co~nissioners for the <br /> <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> "RE~OLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> O~ COUNTY CC994ISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH ~%ROLINA <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met ann, <br /> in compliar~e with North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, has <br /> determined the amount of funds necessary to be raised by tax <br /> assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount; ann, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certify <br /> to the Board of County Conanissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br /> valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary <br /> District; and, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has founn <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1964 should be 65 cents per <br /> one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board, <br /> in complai~ce with the above mentioned statute, does hereby certify <br /> to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina, that for the year 1964 it requests that said Board of <br /> County Con~issioners introduce in its annual le~y the sum of 65 <br /> cents per one hundred dollars property valuation to be levied <br /> against all taxable property within the District, said funds to <br /> be collected by the County Tax Collector and turned over to the <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District as provided in General Statutes <br /> 130-141. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Secretary of the Sanitary District <br /> Board forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of <br /> County Comissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from the <br /> date of its passage. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Sanitary District tax for the Royal <br /> <br /> Oaks Sanitary District for the year 1964 in the amount of 65 cents <br /> AL,x^,,,,a ,,ow, per one hundred dollars property valuation be and the same is <br /> ATTORNEYi AT LAW <br /> <br /> .1...o.....o....... hereby levied on property subject to the tax in the Royal Oaks <br /> KANNAPOLIS.
