STATEHENT OF RESULT <br /> of <br /> SPECIAL BOND ELECTION <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CARDLLNA <br /> on August 4, 1964 <br /> <br /> '~t'-a special' 'bofid election~ held throughout the County of <br /> <br /> Cabarrus, North Carolina, on August 4, 1964, ...~// /L.9_J vote=s <br /> <br /> were registered and qualified to vote. <br /> <br /> At aaid election ~ votes were cast for the ap- <br /> <br />proval of the order authorizing the County of Cabarrus to contract <br />a debt and in evidence thereof to issue not exceeding $6,000,000 School <br />Building Bonds of the County of Cabarrus for the purpose of provid~g <br />funds, with any other available funds, for erecting additional s,chodl <br />buildings and other school plant facilities, remodeling, enlar~ing <br />and reconstructing existing school buildings and other school plant <br />facilities and acquiring necessary land and equipment therefor to <br />provide additional school fa¢~!l!gies in the County of Cabarrue to <br />maintain the six .months' school term in said County as required by <br />Section 3 of Articte IX of the Constitution, and authorizing the le,gy <br />and collection of a sufficient tax for the payment of the principali <br />of ahd the interest on said bonds, and ~ votes were cast <br />against said order, that a majority of the qualified voters of said <br />County who voted at said election voted in favor of said or~ ~r, ~d <br />said order was thereby approved ~d is in force and effect. <br /> <br /> This s~a~ement is given by order of the Board of Commis- <br /> <br />sioners for the County of Cabarrus, this 6th day of August, 1964. <br /> <br /> <br />
