Vote carried. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPLEMENTING A RESOLUTION PASSED ON <br /> JANUARY 4, 1965 ENTITLED: "RESOLUTION FIXING THE <br /> FORM AND MANNER OF EXMCUTION OF $3,095,000 BONDS TO <br /> BE ISSUED UNDER DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1964, PROVIDING <br /> FOR THE REGISTRATION THEREOF AND RATIFYING APPLICATION <br /> TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMISSION FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT <br /> AND SALE OF SAID BONDS" <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus <br /> that the resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 4, 1965 <br /> entitled: "RESOLUTION FIXING THE FORM AND MANNER OF EXECUTION OF $3,095,000 <br /> BONDS TO BE ISSUED UNDER DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1964, PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRA- <br /> TION THEREOF AND RATIFYING APPLICATION TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMISSION FOR THE <br /> ADVERTISEMENT AND SALE OF SAID BONDS" is hereby supplemented by inserting the <br /> phrase "Chapter 602 of the North Carolina Session Laws of 1963" in the second <br /> paragraph of the form for the $3,000,000 School Building Bonds, Series A, before <br /> the words ,"The County Finance Act, as amended" so that said paragraph shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> "This bond is one of a series issued by said County, acting as an administra~.'.,- <br /> tive agent of the State of North Carolina in providing a State system of public <br /> schools, for the purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br /> erecting additiional school buildings and other school plant facilities, re- <br /> modeling, enlarging and reconstructing existing school buildings and other school <br /> plant facilities and acquiring necessary land and equipment therefore to provide <br /> additional school facilities in the County of Cabarrus to maintain the six months <br /> school term in said County as required by Section 3 of Article IX of the Con- <br /> stitution, and this bond is issued under and pursuant to Chapter 602 of the North <br /> Carolina Session Laws of 1963, The County Finance Act, as amended and the Local <br /> Government Act, as amended, and an order which was approved by the vote of a <br /> majority of the qualified voters of said County who voted at an election duly <br /> called and held, and resolutions duly passed by the Board of Commissioners for <br /> said Count y.',~ <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Smoot Lyles, seconded by Commissioner McNeil <br /> Petrea, the foregoing resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION SUPPLEMENTING A RESOLUTION <br /> PASSED ON JANUARY 4, 1965 ENTITLED: 'RESOLUTION FIXING THE FORM AND ~ANNER OF <br /> EXECUTION OF $3,095,000 BONDS TO BE ISSUED UNDER DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1964, <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION THEREOF AND RATIFYING APPLICATION TO LOCAL GOV- <br /> ERNMENT COMMISSION FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT AND SALE OF SAID BONDS'" was passed by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Commissioners, C.
