Frank James
Commissioners, Oren Hill, Mcneil Petrea, Frank McCray, Smoot Lyles

Meeting called to order by Chairman James. Attorney Mill requested title
insurance be purchased for property that was bought for the county school on
Hwy. 49. This amount would be taken out of money that was available through
the sale of Midland School. Hill made motion, seconded by Lyles to grant this
request. Vote carried.

Jay Robinson, Supt. of County Schools, requested the Board approve the
full 10¢ of tax valuation for school supplement. The county is now paying
6.8¢. Commissioners agreed to have Mr. Hurt and Mr. Robinson check the figures
submitted to see if they come within the 10¢ levy before taking action.

Commissioners considered the purchase of the Snyder Building and the
Patterson Building and appointed a committee to investigate this matter further.

Having no further business, meeting adjourned.

Clerk to Boar~
