The Gabarrus County Commissioners met at a call meeting October 6, 1965, <br />at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse. <br />Present: Chairman, C. Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners, Oren Hill, Frank McCray, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioner, McNeil Pet~ea <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James. Attorney Mills recommended that <br />Marvin L. Houston be appointed to the Parkwood Sanitary District Board to suceed <br />W. C. Hagler, who has moved out of District. Lyles made motion, seconded by <br />McCray to grant this appointment. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> The commissioners began purging the new jury list. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned.
