The Cabarrus County Commissioners met in a called metting at the Courthouse <br /> <br />at I0:00 A.M. on Monday October 25, 1965. <br /> <br />Present: C. Frank James Chairman <br /> <br />Commissioners, M. Smoot Lyles, C.McNeil Petrea, W. Frank McCray, <br /> <br />Absent: Oren J. Hill <br /> <br /> Mr. George H. Broadrick, District Commissioner, Charles E. Smith, District <br /> <br />Engineer and T.L. Patterson of the North Carolina State Highway Commission <br />presented to the Board the L966 paving program for secondary roads for Cabarrus <br />County, a copy of is found on page -~J~--. <br /> <br /> Upon Motion by McNeil Petrea, secpnded by Smoot Lyles, the vote was unaminous <br /> <br />to accept program as presented. <br /> <br /> Tax Supervisor Ralph Litaker and two representatives of Associated Surveys, Inch, <br /> <br />appeared before the Board to discuss property apprisal problems arising from <br />property owners having property partly in the city and partly in the county, and <br />property owners having property across township lines, and problems of tax <br />listing arising therefrom. The group was instrected to work out accurate <br />solutions to these problems at the least expense and trouble for both county and <br /> <br />the taxpayers who might be involved. <br /> <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
