Frank J~es · <br /> <br /> Commissioners, Oren Hill, Mc~Teil Petrea, Frank McCray <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioner, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James. <br /> <br /> American Air Surveys requested a two-week extension for completion of county maps. The~e <br /> <br />was discussion on this matter and l~alph Litaker suggested the,extension be given in exchange for <br />blown up a~ria~ photographs of the county. Petrealmade motion, seconded by McCray, to grant <br />this request provided Mr. Litak~r can obtain, pho~tographs; otherwise extension not granted. <br />Vote carried. <br /> <br /> The applications of Mark Kitris and Raymond Bernard ~Vhite for the positign of Cartographgr, <br /> <br /> were submitted for the position in the mapping department. McCray made motion to hire Raymond i <br /> <br />~hite. There was no second to this matt. er. Hill made motion, sgconded by Petrea~ to hire <br />Mark Kitris st a salary of $500.00 per month, plus necessary travel expense that is authorized <br />by the Tax Supervisor, Ralph Litaker. This is to be effective January l, 1966, provided he <br />accepts position at stated salary. <br /> <br /> Voted for: Hill, Petrea, James <br /> <br /> Voted Against: McCray <br /> <br /> Commissioners granted county employees Thanksgiving Day as a holiday. <br /> <br /> Petrea made motion, seconded by Hill, to appoint Mr. Hayden Long as tax lister for <br /> <br />Township ~o. 5 for 1966. He is to replace Mrs. D~lcie Jones. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> Ralph Litaker, Tax Supervisor, came before the commissioners to discuss the township <br /> <br />boundaries between Townships 6 & 7 mapped according t~ the U. S. Geodetic Survey ~aps which <br />follows Dutch Buffalo Creek to a point in county road 2439.
