425 <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at a call meeting Thursday, ~ec. 16, 1965, at <br /> 7:30 P. M. in the Courthouse. <br /> Present: Chairmam C. Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners, McNeil Petrea, Frank MmCray, Smoot Lyles, Attorney Llewellym <br /> <br /> Absent: Commissioner Oren Hill <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Commissioner James. <br /> Mrs. Long, Director of Welfare, was present to discuss the Food Stamp Program. <br /> <br />This was discussed at length. Petrea made motion, seconded by Lyles, to adopt the Food Stamp <br />Program in place of the Surplus Food Commodity for a trial period of one year.
