461 <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at a call meeting Tuesday, June 28, 196( <br />at 2:00 p.m. at the Courthouse. <br />Present: Chairman, C. Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners, Oren Hill, McNeil Petrea, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioner, W. Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James. Sheriff Roberts appeared before <br />board concerning prisoners working at Health Dept. with no supervision. Commissi(ners <br />agreed this practice was to be discontinued effective immediately. <br /> <br /> ~. W. J. Bullock, Supt. Kannapolis Schools was present and discussed how <br />their share of the bond money was being used. <br /> <br /> Petrea made motion, seconded by Hill to adopt the 1966-67 retentive budget <br /> <br />and the tentative tax rate at $1.44 per hundred valuation. <br /> Voted For: James, Petrea, Hill <br /> Abstained: Lyles <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
