RESOLUTION SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR <br /> THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County <br /> <br /> of CabarrUs: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has received the <br /> <br /> following resolution from the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> <br /> Kannapolis Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> "RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Kannapolis Sanitary District Board has met <br /> and, in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes <br /> 130-141, has determined the amount of funds necessary to <br /> be raised by tax assessment and has determined the number <br /> of cents per one hundred dollars property valuation neces- <br /> sary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,~the Sanitary District Board now desires to certify! <br /> to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars <br /> property valuation to be levied as a tax for the Kannapolis <br /> Sanitary District; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Kannapolis Sanitary District Board has found <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1966 should be forty <br /> cents (40¢) per one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Kannapolis Sanitary District Board, <br /> in compliance with the above mentioned statute, does hereby <br /> certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> County, North Carolina, that for the year 1966 it requests <br /> that said Board of County Commissioners introduce in its <br /> annual levy the sum of forty cents (40¢) per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation to be levied against all taxable <br /> property within the District, said funds to be collected by <br /> the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Kannapolis <br /> Sanitary District as provided in General Statutes 130-141. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Secretary of the Sanitary District <br /> Board forward a certified copy of this resolution to the <br /> Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from <br /> the date of its passage." <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Sanitary District tax for the Kanna- <br /> <br /> polis Sanitary District for the year 1966 in the amount of for~y <br /> <br /> ALZXAND£R & ~ROWN <br /> cents (40¢) per one hundred dollars property valuation be and the <br /> A~ORN£Y$ AT ~W <br /> <br /> KANNAPOUS.
