Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners - Petrea, Hawfield, Rankin, and White. <br /> <br />Chairman James called the meeting to order. <br /> <br /> Ralph Weddtngton, National Cash Register representative, presented a <br />proposal on electronic data processing system. No action was taken. <br /> <br /> Budgets were discussed with Mr. Hurt, County Accountant. No action was <br />taken. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners met at a call meeting Wednesday, <br />June 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse. Present were: Chairman C. Frank James, <br />Commissioners Petrea, Hawfteld, Ranktn, and White. Chairman James Introduced <br />the following resolution: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The State Highway Commission, an agency of the State of <br /> North Carolina, has presented to the Board of County Commissioners of <br /> Cabarrus County a RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT, State Project U.1619P, F. A. <br /> Project S-SU-SC-lkgb~ (1), Parcel No. P and 2-B, with the request that <br /> said board of commissioners execute said agreement without cost to the <br /> State Highway Commission, and <br /> <br /> W~IEREAS, this board is of the opinion that the execution of this <br /> RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT without cost to the State Highway Commission would <br /> be to the best interest of Cabarrus County and its citizenry. <br /> <br /> 'IT IS'THEREFORE on motion of Rank/n, seconded by White, unanimously <br /> voted to exec~t'~ said RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT in accordance with the <br /> terms set out in a copy thereof and attached hereto and that The Honorable <br /> C. Frank 3ames, Chairman of Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> County, execute said agreement. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
