WHEREAS, a levy of $. 15 on said valuation will equal $2,720.70; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: t. That the.,P~rkwood .Sm~i~ry D~strict B~ does determine and does hereby find and declare: (a) That the funds available from the surplus operating revenue as prgvided by G.' S. 130-144 are insufficient for ~he payment of interest in retirement of the District's obligations and the costs and expenses which may be reasonably antici- pated in the maintenance and operation of _ the facilities of the Sanitary District. ,, ,, (b) That the assessed valuation of ., ..' the property within the limits of the Parkwood Sanitary District has been estimated at approximately $1,813,896.00. (c) That a levy of $. 15 per $100.00 valuation will produ.ce approximately $2,700.00. (d) That barring unforeseen and unantidipated expenses, the sum of $2,700.00 should be ample to-meet the obligations of the District during the fiscal year 1967-68. 2. That the Se.cretary of the Parkwood Sanitary District Board certified to the Board of County Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that the Parkwood Sanitary District Board has determined that a levy of $. 15 per $100.00 valuation of property within the District limits is necessary to raise the amount needed to meet the current obligations of said District and requested that said nmount be included in the next annual levy to be determined by the Board of County Commissioners and collected as other taxes under the provisionsc~ G. S. 130-141. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: Section 1. That a levy of $. 15 per $100.00 valuation of property within the Parkwood Sanitary District limits be included in the next annual levy to be determined by the Board of County Commissioners for the fiscal year 1966-67 and that said levy be collected as other county taxes as provided by North Carolina General Statute 130-141.
