610 <br /> <br /> The regular monthly meeting of the Cabarrus County Commissioners was held <br /> <br /> at 9:30 A.M. on June 3, 196t~, with the follo~in0 members present: <br /> <br /> Chairman - C. Frank James <br /> <br /> Commissioners - C. McNeil Petrea, S. glenn Hawfield, <br /> <br /> Dr. R. B. Rankin, Jr., and F. J. Beasley, Jr. <br /> <br /> Chairman James called the meeting to order. Prayer was by the Reverend Don Safrit{. <br /> <br /> Minutes were read and approved. <br /> <br /> County Attorney James C. Davis presented resolutions calling for Special <br /> Fire Election for Jackson Park Fire District and Cold Water Fire District. Upon <br /> motion by Rankin, secondedby Beasley, the vote was unanimous to approve these <br /> resolutions and ordered that they be published in the Concord Tribune for three <br /> successive Mondays beginning June 10, 196~1. These resolutions are recorded on <br /> pages ~IL ,,, and ~lq and become a part o1' these minutes. Commissioners <br /> requested John Sharpe Hartsell, chairman of the Board of Elections, to supervise <br /> <br /> ' <br /> the fire district registration and election. Mr. Hartsell agreed. <br /> <br /> County Tax Collector C. Olce Allen, Jr., submitted Privilige License Tax <br /> <br /> schedule for fiscal year 196~-69. Hawfield made motion, seconded by Petrea, to <br /> <br /> approve same. Vote carried. (See pages 1L thru` _ ~mllm{~i . ) <br /> <br /> On motion by Hawfleld, secondedby Petrea, vote carried to appoint Dr. Robert <br /> <br /> C. Bailey as Jail physician, his fees to be lmld on per call basis. <br /> <br /> Hawfield made motion, seconded by Petrea, to accept th · following road <br /> petitions.
