R~SOLUTION OF THE ROCKLAND SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br />BE IT RBSCLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Rockland Sanitary <br />District: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~f//t Rockland ~anitary District Board has her in compliance <br />with North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, and has determined the <br />amount of funds necessary to be raised by tax assessment and has <br />determined the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br />valuation necessary to raise said amount, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board now desires to certify <br />to the Board of County O~mmissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />the number of cents per one hundred dollars prpperty valuation to be <br />levied as a tax for the Rockland Sanitary District, and <br /> <br /> ~REAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board has found that the <br />said tax rate for the fiscal year 1968-69 should be fifty-eight (.58) <br />cents per one hundred dollars valuation, and that the said tax rate <br />will produce approximately three thousand three hundred and forty <br />dollars ($3,340.00)~ based on the property valuation of approximately <br />five hundred twenty three thousand one hundred twenty-three dollars, <br />($523,123.00)., <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE IT IS f~REBY R~SOLVED: <br /> <br />That the Rockland Sanitary District Board, in compliance with the <br />above mentioned statute, does hereby certify to the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Cabaxrus County, North Carolina, that for the fiscal <br />year 1968-69, it requests the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />to levy the sum of fifty-eight cents per one hundred dollars valuation <br />against all taxable property within the Distiict, said funds to be <br />collected by the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Rockland <br />Sanitary District as provided in General Statutes 130-141. <br /> <br />This the 28th day of June, 1968. <br /> <br /> Chairman, ~ockland sanitary District <br /> <br /> <br />
