The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br /> North Carolina, met in regular session at the County Courthouse <br /> in Concord, North Carolina, at 9:30 o'clock A.M., on April 8, <br /> '~969. <br /> <br /> Present:Chairman C. Frank James, Commissioners <br /> <br /> Dr. R. B. Rankin, Jr. C. M. Petrea, S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr <br /> and Robert A. HcClary <br /> <br /> Absent: None. <br /> <br /> The Kannapolis Sanitary District requested the Board to <br /> adopt the following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br /> TO KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners for the Count~ <br /> of Cabarrus has determined and does hereby find and~ declare: <br /> <br /> (a) That on April 8, 1969, a resolution was received <br /> <br /> from the Sanitary District Board of the Kannapolis Sanitary <br /> District relating to the annexation of territory to the Kannapolis <br /> Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> (b) That the territory described in the petition consists <br /> of the property of the Kannapolis Real Estate Agen. cy, Inc. <br /> <br /> (c~) That the petition was signed by the sole owner of the <br /> propertY requested to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (d) That said petition requests that all necessary action <br /> required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of <br /> North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kanna- <br /> <br />A~D~,&S,O*. polis Sanitary District be taken so as to annex the territory <br />AI'rORNEYS AT LAW <br /> <br />,,, ,~,.,,.O.^L.LD.. described in the petition unto the Kannapolis Sanitary District <br />KANNAPOLIS.
