A RESOLUTION HONORING MISS REBECCA HOPKINS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Miss Rebecca Hopkins was chosen "Miss Cabarrus <br /> <br /> County" by the combined Jaycee Clubs in Cabarrus County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Miss Hopkins represented Cabarrus County at the <br /> <br />- Miss North Carolina Pageant held in Charlotte, North Carolina, <br /> in June 1969 and so impressed the judges with her talent, beauty <br /> and grace, that she became a finalist in that competition among <br /> the best of North Carolina womanhood, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Miss Hopkins represented her County with beauty, <br /> charm, grace and exceptional talent, and in the highest tradition~ <br /> <br /> of Cabarrus County womanhood, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners , <br /> of Cabarrus County that the Board of Commissioners express their <br /> gratitude and appreciation to Miss Rebecca Hopkins for the honor <br /> <br /> she has brought to her County. <br /> <br /> Adopted this ~ ~. day of July, 1969. <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> JOHNSON, DAVIS & HORTO~ <br /> <br /> ATTORNEYB AT LAW <br /> <br /> $!
