RESOLUTION HONORING THE KANNAPOLIS, CONCORD AND <br /> <br /> MT. PLEASANT JAYCEE CLUBS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Jaycee Clubs of Kannapolis, Concord and Mt. <br /> <br /> Pleasant have shown a genuine interest in civic and local affairs <br /> and have performed numerous services for their County and several <br /> communities, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS said Clubs sponsored as a joint effort the 1968-196~ <br /> <br /> Miss Cabarrus County Pageant, which Pageant was well organized an~ <br /> promoted, providing entertainment for the citizens of the County <br /> and experience and opportunities for the entrants, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS Miss Rebecca Hopkins was chosen "Miss Cabarrus County" <br /> <br /> in that Pageant, and represented the County to the finals of the <br /> <br /> Miss North Carolina Pageant, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioner~ <br /> <br /> of Cabarrus County that the Board of Commissioners express the <br /> thanks of a grateful. County to the Jaycee Clubs of Kannapolis, <br /> Concord, and Mt.
