RESOLUTION OF THE ROCKLAND SANITAd~ DIS£MICT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Rockland Sanitary / <br />District: <br /> ~EREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board has met in compliance <br />with North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, and has determined the <br />a~ount of funds necessary to be raised by tax assessment and has <br />determined the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br />valuation necessary to raise said amount, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board now desires to certify <br />to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />the numbe~ of cents per one hundred dollars property valuation to be <br />levied as a tax for the Roakland Sanitary District, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary B~8~i~B~$a~ddhaa~:.£ound that the <br />said tax rate for the fiscal year 1969-1970 should be fifty-eight (.58) <br />cents per one hundred dollars valuation, and that the said tax rate <br />will produce approximately three thousand and seven dollars (.?;3,007.00), <br />based on the property valuation of approximately five hundred eighteen <br />thousand five hundred fifty seven dollars, ($518,557.00). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: <br />That the Rockland Sanitary District Board, in compliance with the <br />above mentioned statute, does hereby certify to the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that for the fiscal <br />year 1969-1970, it requests the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />to levy the sum of fifty eight cents per one hundred dollars valuation <br />against all taxable property within the Bistrict, and said funds to be <br />collected by the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Rockland <br />Sanitary District as provided in General Statutes 130-141. <br />This the 28th day of June 1969. <br /> <br /> Chairman, R~ckland Sanztary Distrxc~ <br /> <br /> <br />
