Adjourned meeting o£ the Cabarrus Cbunty Commissioners was held at 9:30 A.M. <br /> <br />August lB, 1969, at the Courhouse with the foll6wing members present: <br /> <br /> Chairman: C. Frank James <br /> <br /> Coauaissioners= Dr. R. B. Rankin, Jr., C. McNeil Petrea, S. Glenn Hawfield, <br /> <br /> Jr., and Robert A. M¢Clary. <br /> <br />Chairman James c~ led the meeting to order. <br /> <br /> A resolution approving the bond order authorizing SgO,O00.OO jail building bonds <br />introduced at the August 4, 1969, meeting was submitted for approual. Since no public <br />opposition was expressed, Rankin made motion~ seconded by Petrea, to adopt the resolution <br />as presented. Vote was unanimous. This resolution is recorded on page. 708 _ and <br />becomes a part of these minutes. <br /> <br /> McClary made motion, seconded by Hawfield, to close Cburthouse on Satfirday, <br />August 30~ and Monday, September;1 for Labor Day holidays.
