Lee Pharr, presented a resolution to the <br />Board to approve the transfer of J. Lee Pharr's garbage franchise to Ralph J. <br />Moody, William Williams, James A. Jones, and William E. Fisher, who had purchased <br />the franchise at public auction. After a discussion with iYmmes C. Davis, County <br />Attorney, Commissioners approved the resolution after it was amended to absolve <br />the Commissioners of any liability between Pharr and the three purchasers. Rankin <br />made motion, seconded by Hawfield,. Vote was unanimous. Resolution is recor~18d <br />on page ~L~ and becomes a part of these minutes. <br /> <br /> H. D. Campbell requested the Board to grant him a franchise to cellect <br />garbage in Kannapolts where he had been collecting garbage for some twenty years. <br />Commissioners instructed Mr. Campbell to contact Health Director A1 Klimas for <br />assistance in this matter. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adOourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board - <br /> <br /> <br />
