Highway No. 29 and the Morehead Road to the Cabarrus-Mecklenburg <br /> County line; thence in a southeasterly direction along said <br /> Cabarrus-Mecklenburg County line to a point 500 feet south of <br /> the Bellefont Church Road; thence in an easterly direction <br /> <br /> 500 feet south of and parallel to the Bellefont Church Road to <br /> a point where said road crosses the Rocky River, thence in a <br /> northwesterly direction along the Rocky River and Coddle Creek <br /> to a point on Highway No. 49 at Coddle Creek; being the point <br /> of BEGINNING. <br /> <br /> The proposition herein above set forth contains a statement <br /> of the purpose for which the election is called and tax shall be <br /> imposed. <br /> <br /> If said proposition passes by a majority of the qualified <br /> voters of the Harrisburg Volunteer Fire District, a tax <br /> will be levied upon all taxable property within said Harrisburg <br /> Volunteer Fire District sufficient to pay for the purpose of <br /> providing fire protection in said district. A new registration <br /> of voters has been ordered and no one will be permitted to vote <br /> unless registered anew. The books for such registration will be <br /> open from 9:00 a. m. until 6:30 p. m. on each day beginning <br /> Saturday, February 28, 1970, and ending Saturday, March 14, <br /> <br /> 1970. On each Saturday during such registration, said books will <br /> be kept open at the polling place. Saturday, March 21, 1970, is <br /> challenge day. The polling place for this election of the <br /> Harrisburg Volunteer Fire District and the names of the election <br /> officers, subject to change as provided by law, are as follows: <br /> <br /> POLLING PLACE REGISTRARS JUDGES <br /> <br /> Harrisburg Fire Department Mrs. Iris Alexander W. H. Williams <br /> John Davis <br /> <br />JOHNSON, DAVIS & HORTON <br /> <br /> A~OR#~S AT <br /> , c0,,^, ^,,.. ,. ,. The boundaries of said fire protection district are as set <br /> CONCOR0, N. C. <br /> out above and all eligible voters are those who are eligible <br /> KA~NAPO~S, ~. C. <br /> <br /> <br />
