Notice of said election and new registration sba <br /> be published onee a week for three successive weeks, the first <br /> publication to be at least twenty (20) days before the opening <br /> of the registration period, in the Concord Tribune, a newspaper <br /> published in Cabarrus County and circulating in said district, <br /> which notice shall be in substantially the following form: <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> AND NEW REGISTRATION <br /> IN <br /> RIMER FIRE DISTRICT <br /> <br /> A special election will be held between 6:30 a. m. and <br /> <br /> 6:30 p. m. Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, March <br /> <br /> 24, 1970, at which there will be submitted to the qualified <br /> registered voters of the Rimer Fire District in Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina, which district comprises the territory hereinafter <br /> described, the following proposition: <br /> <br /> An election in the Rimer Fire District for the <br /> purpose of submitting to the qualified voters <br /> therein the question of levying and collecting <br /> a special tax on all taxable property in said <br /> district, of not exceeding 15~ of the $100.00 <br /> valuation of property, for the purpose of <br /> providing fire protection in said district. <br /> <br /> The boundary lines of said Rimer Fire District are as follow <br /> BEGINNING at a point where the Mount Pleasant-Faith Road <br /> crosses the Cabarrus-Rowan County Line; thence ina southeasterly <br /> direction to a point on the Lower Stone Church Road, about 0.3 <br /> mile east of its intersection with Lower Stone Church Road; thence <br /> a Southwesterly direction to a point on Lower Stone Church Road, <br /> about 0.3 mile south of its intersection with Bost Road (2435); <br /> thence in a southerly direction to a point on Lower Stone Church <br /> <br /> Road, about 0.3 mile north of its intersection with Gold Hill Road <br />JOHNSON, DAVIS & HORTON <br /> <br /> ATTORNEYS AT LAW <br /> <br /> ,,¢o,,,.^,~..,.w. thence in a southerly direction to a point at the intersection of <br /> CONCORD.
