Notice of said election and new registration shall be published once a week for three successive weeks, the first publication to be at least ~enty (20) days before the opening of the registration period, in the Concord Tribune, a newspaper published in Cabarrus County and circulating in said district, which notice shall be in. substantially the following form: NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION AND NEW REGISTRATION IN MIDLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DISTRICT A special election will be held between 6:30 a. m. and 6:30 p. m., Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, March 24, 1970, at which there will be submitted to the qualified registered voters of the Midland Volunteer Fire District in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, which district comprises the territory hereinafter described the following proposition: An election in the Midland Volunteer Fire District for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters therein the question of levying and collecting a special tax on all taxable property in said district, of not exceeding 15¢ of the $100.00 valuation of property, for the purpose of providing fire protection in said district. The boundary lines of said Midland Volunteer Fire District are as follows: BEGINNING at Cabarrus-Stanly County line on Highway N.
