STATE~ OF RESULT OF SPECIE ELECTION <br /> <br /> HELD IN THE <br /> <br /> A.T. ALLEN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> <br /> IN <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> ON <br /> <br /> MARCH 24, 1970 <br /> <br /> 124 voters were registered and qualified to vote at a <br /> special tax election held on March 24, 1970, in the A.T. <br /> <br /> Allen Fire Protection District, in Cabarrus County, North <br /> <br /> Carolina. <br /> <br /> At said election 66 voters voted for the approval in <br /> favor of tax for fire protection in A.T. Allen Fire Protection <br /> District, authorizing the levying and collecting of a special <br /> tax on all taxable property in said district, of not <br /> <br /> exceeding 15¢ of the $100.00 valuation of the property, for <br /> <br /> the purpose of providing fire protection in said district. <br /> <br /> At said election 29 voters voted against the levying <br /> <br /> of tax for fire protection in A.T. Allen Fire Protection <br /> District and the levying and collecting of a special tax <br /> on all taxable property in said district of not exceeding <br /> 15¢ of the $100.00 valuation of property for the purpose of <br /> <br /> providing fire protection in said district. <br /> <br /> THEREFORE a majority of the qualified registered <br /> <br /> voters voting thereon at the election voted for said special <br /> levy and collection of a special tax on all taxable property <br /> in said district of not exceeding 15¢ of the $100.00 <br /> valuation of property, for the purpose of providing fire <br /> protection in said distric~ <br />JOHNSON, DAVIS & HORTON <br />ATTORNEYS AT LAW <br />co,co,o.,.c.
