Mention was also <br /> made Of getting office hours of all County departments in line <br /> or concurrent, and a standard travel allowance be adopted in <br /> the future. <br /> <br /> A motion was made by Hammett to adjust the salaries of <br /> <br /> employees of the Department of Social Services, employed <br /> during the current fiscal year, to one step below the State <br /> standard pay plan, retroactive to January 1, 1971, in order <br /> to comply with provisions of the State Personnel Act. This <br /> Act requires that all employees of a unit subject to the <br /> Act be on the same pay plan.
