Pursuant to motion made by Mr. McClary and seconded by <br /> <br />Mr. Gallimore, the following resolution was unanimously passed: <br /> <br /> "BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cabar- <br />rus County that exclusive franchises to collect refuse in Cabarrus County <br />are hereby granted to the persons named in the following areas of Cabarrus <br />County: - <br /> <br /> A. The folldwing portion of No. 4 Township is granted unto Royal <br />Service Company and Turner Neal: <br /> <br /> Said franchise is granted within ~_f~)llowing boundaries: BEGINNING <br />at the center of the Old Concord-Salisbury Road and the Rowan-Cabarrus <br />County line and running thence with said Road in a Southerly direction to a <br />point 300 feet South of BrantleY Road; thence a line 300 feet South of and <br />parallel with Brantley Road in a Westerly direction to 1-85; thence Southwest <br />with 1-85 to the Lake Concord Road; thence South with Lake Concord Road <br />to the Concord City Limits; thence West with the Concord City Limits to the <br />Southern Railroad tracks; thence North with the Southern Railroad tracks to <br />Rogers Lake Road or where Rogers Lake Road extended Eastward would <br />cross said tracks; thence West with Rogers Lake Road to Buffalo Creek; <br />thence with Buffalo Creek S. 300 feet; thence Northwesterly a line 300 feet <br />Southwest of and parallel with Rogers Lake Road to the Boy Scout Camp Road; <br />thence 300 feet South of the Mooresville Road in a~-~Westerly direction to the <br />Township 3 and Township 4 line; thence with the Township line N. to Rowan <br />County; and thence with the Rowan-Cabarrus County line in an Easterly direc- <br />tion to the BEGINNING. <br /> <br /> <br />
