867 <br /> <br /> County Attorney Boger presented resolution updating a 1955 <br /> <br /> resolution that established a Fire District Commission, adding a <br /> member to the Commission and incorporating changes made since 1955. <br /> As part of the resolution, the County subsidy will be $200.00 a <br /> month for each fire department and stipulation that the County pay <br /> one-half of the cost of initial radios for the base station, fire <br /> equipment and chief's car ef each department and one-half of the <br /> cost of replacement radios approved by the Fire Otstrtct's Commission. <br /> <br /> On motion by Galltmore, seconded by Hamaett, and carried <br /> <br /> unanimously, the amended resolution was adopted as the County <br /> Con~ntsstoners' policy with regard to County fire protection. This <br /> resolution is recorded on Page ~. and becomes a part of these <br /> minutes. <br /> <br /> On motion by Hammett, seconded by McClary, Charles Galltmore <br /> <br /> was appointed as a member of the Fire Chief's Association. Hotton <br /> <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Board unanimously approved continuing the current policy <br /> <br /> of discounts for payment of taxes; 2%discount in duly; 1 1/2% in <br /> August; 1% in September and 1/2% in October. Notion was made by ~ <br /> NcClary and seconded by Gallimo're. <br /> <br /> Public hearing on the County ordinance establishing minimum <br /> <br /> lot and space sizes wes duly adeertised fOrr2;p.m. Monday, Hay 3, <br /> <br /> The appointed hour passedwithout any Individual or his <br /> <br /> attorney appearing before the. C~issioners to protest the ordinance, <br /> Without epposttfon, the ordinance will be up for final adoption <br /> at the C~issioners' regular June 7, 1971 meeting and will become <br /> effective irm~ediately onadoption. <br /> <br /> A resolutionpresented on .Levy for Schedule B Privilege License <br /> <br /> Taxes was adopted upon motion of James, by a vote of four for said <br /> motion and a vote of none agains: said motion.
