887 <br /> <br /> ~ The Board of Commissioners, for the County of Cabarrus, met at a <br /> <br /> called session June 28, 1971. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman - S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners - Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John Hammett <br /> Budget discussions continued. The Social Services, Health, Schools <br /> <br /> and Law Enforcement budgets were finalized. <br /> <br /> The County Accountant was instructed to prepare new budget estimates <br /> <br /> for the Board's consideration at a meeting set for Friday, July 2, 1971. <br /> <br /> Gallimore moved that all County Departments be closed Monday, July <br /> <br /> 5, 1971. McClary seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Gallimore made motion, seconded by McClary, that meeting adjourn. <br /> <br /> Vote unanimous. <br /> <br /> <br />
