lO0 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br /> <br /> North Carolina, met in regular session at the County Courthouse, <br /> in Concord, North Carolina, the usual place of meeting, at 10 o'clock A.M., <br /> December 6, 1971. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr., and Commissioners <br /> <br /> Robert A. McClary, Charles Gallimore, John A'. Hammett. <br /> <br /> Absent: C. Frank James. <br /> <br /> Commissioner McClary introduced the following resolution <br /> <br /> which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR <br /> THE ISSUANCE OF $365,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> <br /> County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The Board of Commissioners has determined <br /> <br /> and does hereby find and declare that a resolution providing for <br /> the issuance of $365,000 School Building Bonds of the County of <br /> Cabarrus adopted on November 1, 1971 provides that said bonds shall <br /> mature annually on December 1, and it was the intention of this <br /> <br /> Board that said bonds mature annually on June 1, in the years therein <br /> <br /> specified and that none of said bonds has been issued. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The second sentence of Section 2 of the <br /> <br /> resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF <br /> $365,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS", is hereby amended by changing the <br /> sixth word thereof from "December" to "June". <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br /> <br /> Gallimore, the foregoing resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION AMENDING <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $365,000 SCHOOL BUILDING <br /> BONDS" was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Robert A. McClary, Charles Gallimore, <br /> <br /> John A. Hammett. <br /> <br /> Noes: · None. <br /> <br /> I, Joyce Misenheimer, Clerk of Board of Commissioners <br /> <br /> for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that <br /> the foregoing has been copied from the actually recorded minutes <br /> of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus at a meet- <br /> lng held December 6, 1971, the record having been made in Minute <br /> Book 12, beginning at page 100 and ending at page 100, and is a true <br /> copy of so much of said proceedings as relate in any way to the <br /> issuance of bonds of said County. <br /> <br /> <br />
