BE IT RESOLVED BY THI~ BOARD OF COMMISSION~:RS <br />OF THi~ COUNTY OF CABARRUS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized <br /> <br />to execute a contract with the City of ,,,,,C, higa,,,Gr,,ov,.e,, , , , pursuant <br /> <br />to Section 160A-288 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, whereby <br />the two parties agree to render mutual aid and assistance by the loan <br />of law enforcement officers and/or equipment in time of emergency. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Such contract shall specify when it shall take <br />effect, and shall be preserved to the governing boards of both parties <br />for ratification at the next regular or special meeting called for that <br />purpose, but such contract sim11 be in all respects valid and binding <br />between the time of its final execution and the next regular or special <br />meeting of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon /ts <br /> <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
