Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner McClar~ , <br /> <br />seconded by Commissioner Hammett and carried, the order <br /> <br />introduced and passed on first reading on July 10, 1972 entitled: <br />"ORDER AUTHORIZING $9,750,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS" was read a <br />second time and placed upon its final passage. The vote upon the <br />final passage of said order was: <br /> <br /> ~Ayes: Commissioners McClary, Hammett, Gallimore'and <br /> <br /> James. · <br /> <br /> Noes: ~one . <br /> <br /> The Chairman then announced that. the order entitled: <br /> <br /> "ORDER AUTHORIZING $9,750,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS" had .passed. <br /> <br /> The Clerk was thereupon directed to publish said order <br /> <br /> in The Concord Tribune, once in each of two successive weeks, and <br /> <br /> to publish at the foot of said order the appended note as required <br /> <br />.by The County Finance Act, as amended. <br /> <br /> Thereupon Commissioner McClary introduced <br /> <br /> the foil°Wing resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL BOND ELECTION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissi~ners for the <br /> <br /> County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. A special bond election is hereby called to <br /> <br /> be held on Saturday, September 9, 1972, between 6:30 A.M. and 7:30 <br /> P.M., at which there shall be submitted to the qualified voters of <br /> Cabarrus County the 'following question: <br /> <br /> Shall an order finally passed on July 24, <br /> 1972, authorizing not exceeding $9,750,000 <br /> School Building Bonds of the County of <br /> Cabarrus for the purpose of providing funds, . <br /> with any other available funds, for erecting <br /> additional school buildings and other school <br /> · plant facilities, remodeling, enlarging and <br /> reconstructing existing school buildings and <br /> other school plant facilities, and acquiring <br /> necessary land and equiDment therefor, in <br /> order to provide additional school facilities <br /> in said County to maintain the nine months' <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> MITC~HICLL.
