A general discussion with all three school board officials and <br /> <br />the commissioners participating followed. It was stated that any students <br />who wanted to go to Kannapolis would be allowed to do so. Shankletown and <br />Logan Schools had been closed due to racial balancing. The commissioners <br />asked that the school boards determine the most pressing needs and make a <br />recommendation as to which should be acted upon first. It was d~cided <br />that they would meet together and luther discuss the school's needs and pri- <br />orities before the budget for the mext fiscal year is adopted. <br /> <br /> At 10:00 a.m. the following bids for the re-evaluation of Cabarrus <br />County to be finished by January 1973 were accepted and read: <br /> <br /> Cole Layer Trumble Company $237,500 <br /> Associated Surveys Company $220,000 <br /> James R.
