The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, met in special <br />session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on June 1, 1973, at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman - S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners - Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> County <br /> Budget requests from the Cabarrus/School District, Kannapolis City School District and <br /> <br />Concord City School District were discussed. Appearing before the Board to present the <br />schools' budget were Dr. Bradshaw, Superintendent of the Kannapolis City Schools; Raymond <br />Ward, Chairman of the Kannapolis City School Board; J. Robinson, Superintendent of the <br />Cabarrus County Schools, Stuart Black and Seth Bostic, Chairman and Vice Chairman, <br />respectively, of the Cabarrus County School Board; and Bill Irvin, Superintendent of the <br />Concord City Schools; and Hal Farrell, Jr.~ Vice Chairman of the Concord City Schools. <br /> <br /> Mr. A1Klimas, Cabarrus County Health Director, appeared before the Board and presented <br /> <br />the Health Department's budget requests. <br /> No action was taken. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> William R.
