210 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, met in special <br /> <br /> session at the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 1973. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman - S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John Hammett <br /> <br /> Motion by McClary, seconded by James, to approve a resolution whereby the County adopts <br /> <br /> as its policy the participation in the development of a regional program for the development <br /> <br /> of a sanitary sewer system and waste treatment plant. Vote was Unamimous. Recorded on Page 220 <br /> <br /> Motion by Gallimore, seconded by Hammett to change the County travel mileage rates, <br /> <br /> effective July 1, 1973, for all County employees to $0.15 per mile for the first 300 miles, <br /> <br /> and $0.10 per mile in excess of 300 miles per month. Vote carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion by Gallimore, seconded by Hammett, to obtain the services of Mathey Davis with <br /> <br /> the Department of Natural and Economic Resources, for the purpose of preparing a County Base <br /> Map, developing a Land Use Plan, and furnishing technical assistance with a County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Vote carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Various departmental budgets were discussed and tentatively approved. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Wi&liam R.
