MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA. A regular meeting of ~he Board of Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus was held in the Courthouse in Concord, N. C., the regular meeting place, on Monday, July 9, 1973. All Commissioners were present. The Board was advised of notification by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Economic Resources that planning services were available to the County, and a proposed contract was presented and discussed; that, under the terms of the said contract, the County will pay a total of $3,730.00 for the planning service, payment being due on August 15, 1973. Com~nissioner Gallimore introduced the following resolution, which was read: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus: 1) That the contract between the County of Cabarrus and the North Carolina Department of Natural and Economic Resources be and the same is hereby approved. 2) That the Chairman and County Administrator are hereby authorized to sign and execute the said contract for and on behalf of the County of Cabarrus and forward the same to the North Carolina Department of Natural and Economic Resources. 3) That upon final execution a copy of the said contract be filed with the minutes. Upon motion of Commissioner Gallimore , seconded by Commissione McClary ., said resolution was unanimously passed. I, William R. Wade, Clerk to the Board (Acting) of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of the Board of C~mmissioners of the County of Cabarrus, at a meeting held on July 9, 1973, as related to the contract between the County of Cabarrus and the North Carolina Department of Natural and Economic Resources, relative to the County of Cabarrus planning project.
