PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE <br /> BOUNDARIES OF THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> Scottish Real Estate, Inc., a North Carolina corporation with <br />its registered office at 1119 South Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, <br />North Carolina, owner of all the land described hereinbelow, <br />respectfully petitions that all necessary action required by <br />Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina <br />for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary <br />District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be taken so as to annex <br />said land and include the same within the boundaries of said <br />Kannapolis Sanitary District under the authority of said Article 12 <br />of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. <br /> <br /> The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or <br /> territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so <br /> that said district will include said territory within its boundaries <br /> and so that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and <br /> services which said district is authorized to provide may be provided <br /> in said territory for the preservation and promotion of the public <br /> health and sanitary welfare therein. <br /> <br /> It is understood and agreed that the petitioners will make <br />installation of the necessary water lines and sewer lines in the <br />territory hereinafter described in accordance with the rules and <br />provisions of the District for construction of water and sewer <br />lines in new developments. <br /> <br /> The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be~annexed to <br /> and included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the center of Lombardi Street, a <br />corner of the Kannapolis Sanitary District boundary line, said <br />beginning point lying approximately 170 feet west of the point <br />of intersection of the center lines of Lombardi Street and Cross <br />Street, and runs thence along the center line of Lombardi Street <br />in a northwestern direction 100 feet to a point, said point being <br />opposite the front corner of Lots 192 and 193 of Winecoff Heights; <br />thence continuing along the center line of Lombardi Street <br />approximately North 89 West 75 feet to a point in the center line <br />of said street, said point being opposite the front corner of Lots <br />189 and 190; thence running across Lombardi Street and along the <br />dividing line between Lots 189 and 190 of Winecoff Heights, North <br />35 East 177 feet, more or less, to a point in the boundary line of <br />the Kannapolis Sanitary District; thence with the boundary line of <br />the Kannapolis Sanitary District as it crosses Lots 190 through 196 <br /> Heights, approximately South 68 East 175 feet to a point, <br /> of <br /> Winecoff <br /> a corner of the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District <br />in the line of Lot No. 196 of Winecoff Heights; thence continuing <br />with the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District and along <br />the boundary line of Lot 196, South 35 East 170 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of Beginning, and being that portion of Lots 190 through <br />196 of Winecoff Heights which does not now lie within the boundaries <br />of the Kannapolis Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />~ 0-S~ecretary ' -~ <br /> <br /> <br />
