PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT Scottish Real Estate, Inc., a North Carolina corporation with its registered office at 1119 South Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, North Carolina, owner of all the land described hereinbelow, respectfully petitions that all necessary action required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be taken so as to annex said land and include the same within the boundaries of said Kannapolis Sanitary District under the authority of said Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so that said district will include said territory within its boundaries and so that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services which said district is authorized to provide may be provided in said territory for the preservation and promotion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. It is understood and agreed that the petitioners will make installation of the necessary water lines and sewer lines in the territory hereinafter described in accordance with the rules and provisions of the District for construction of water and sewer lines in new developments. The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be~annexed to and included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in the center of Lombardi Street, a corner of the Kannapolis Sanitary District boundary line, said beginning point lying approximately 170 feet west of the point of intersection of the center lines of Lombardi Street and Cross Street, and runs thence along the center line of Lombardi Street in a northwestern direction 100 feet to a point, said point being opposite the front corner of Lots 192 and 193 of Winecoff Heights; thence continuing along the center line of Lombardi Street approximately North 89 West 75 feet to a point in the center line of said street, said point being opposite the front corner of Lots 189 and 190; thence running across Lombardi Street and along the dividing line between Lots 189 and 190 of Winecoff Heights, North 35 East 177 feet, more or less, to a point in the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District; thence with the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District as it crosses Lots 190 through 196 Heights, approximately South 68 East 175 feet to a point, of Winecoff a corner of the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in the line of Lot No. 196 of Winecoff Heights; thence continuing with the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District and along the boundary line of Lot 196, South 35 East 170 feet, more or less, to the point of Beginning, and being that portion of Lots 190 through 196 of Winecoff Heights which does not now lie within the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District.
