WHEREAS, the Cabsrrus Council on Aging has recently been organisedI and <br />whereas, a represantative of said Council has appeared before ths Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners and explained the program cf the C~uncil and the Board <br />wishes to endorse said Council and its program of service to others~ <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County congratulates <br />the Cabarrus Council on Aging upon its organization and extends best wishes to <br />the Council in the future as it performs its worthwhile purpose. <br /> <br /> HcClary made motion that the Detective/Drug Subgrant Application Resolution <br /> <br />be extended for one year. Hotion seconded by James and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Terry Rowland, Tax Supervisor, presented a schedule for Land Use Value. <br /> <br />NcClary made motion, seconded by Hammett and carried, to accept the schedule. <br /> <br /> James made motion, seconded by Hammett and carried, to accept the following <br /> <br />road petition: First Road into Rollingwood Forest - request for addition. <br /> <br /> William R. Wade reported that Nathey Davis was ready to zone the entire county <br /> <br />and felt that the Planning and Zoning Board should be responsible for developing <br /> <br />this plan. <br /> <br /> Due to an increase in premiums by Blue Cross and Blue Shield, McClary made <br /> <br />a motion to increase the Countyts share to $9.00 per insured person. Notion <br /> <br />seconded by Hammett and vo~e carried. <br /> <br /> Having no fu~her business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Cl~k to t~e ~oard <br /> <br /> <br />
