The Cabarrus County Board of Equalization and Review met at 9:30 a.m. on May 2, 1974, <br /> <br />at the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, for the purpose of hearing appeals con- <br /> <br /> cerning the revaluation of property. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> <br /> Also Present: Terry Rowland, Tax Supervisor. <br /> <br /> Gallimore made motion, seconded by McClary and carried,that no action be taken on the <br /> <br /> request by W. T. Lowrance, Township 12, Mmp 26, Parcel 177. <br /> <br /> Sam Black and Aaron P. Blank appeared representing Kerr Industries. McClary made <br /> <br />motion, seconded by Gallimore and carried, that no change be made in land and that the <br /> <br />property located on Map 21 and Parcel 47.1 Township 12 be valued at the 75 revaluation rate. <br /> <br /> Don Miller representing Miller Hoisery Mills, Inc. Township 12, Map 25 and Parcel 159 <br /> <br /> appeared. Gallimore made motion that no change be made in land and the buildings be <br /> <br /> reduced to 20,000. Motion seconded by McClary and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Hammett made motion to reduce the building to 2,400 with no change in land for <br /> <br /> Concord Ice Plant, Township 12, Map 29, Parcel 121.1, represented by T. H. Harwood. <br /> <br /> James seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Clerk t~ the Board - <br /> <br />Corrected minutes of June 3, 1974, to read at the 1975 revaluation rate. <br /> <br /> <br />
