ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET - AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION <br /> SERVICE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, expenditures for the following Agricultural Extension Service <br />accounts have exceeded the budget appropriations in the 1973-74 Annual <br />Operating Budget in the amounts as shown: <br /> <br /> AGRICULTUP~ EXTENSION SERVICE <br /> 374 Farm Census $ ].,152.40 <br /> 377 Travel - Farm Agents 275.25 <br /> 379 Salaries - Staff 250.00 <br /> 380 Travel - Home Agents 7.78 <br /> 384 Equipment 189.07 <br /> <br /> TOTAL OVER-EXPENDED ACCOUNTS $ 1,874.40 (T) <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHERE&S, the budgeted appropriations for the following Agricultural <br />Extension Service accounts show unexpended and excess funds in at least <br />the amounts as shown: <br /> <br /> AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION SERVICE <br /> 381 Office Expense $ 27.24 <br /> 381/1 Office Expense - Nutrition Aides 300.00 <br /> 382 Retirement and FICA 189.42 <br /> 386 HosPital insurance 14.40 <br /> <br /> TOTAL UNEXPE~{DED AND EXCESS FUNDS $ 531.06 (T) <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total revenue for 1973-74 will <br />exceed the smount budgeted by approximately $4,036.13. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED ANDDECREED by this <br />Board of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, that: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as adopted on <br />July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of Minute Book 16, be amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> (a) That the budgeted amounts for departmemtal accounts as itemized <br /> above be increased in the amounts as shown, totaling $1,874.40. <br /> <br /> (b) That the budgeted amounts for departments as itemized above be <br /> decreased in the amount of the unexpended, totaling $531.06, <br /> with that total being re-distributed among the over-expended. <br /> <br /> (c) That $1,343.34 of the excess revenue collections be distributed <br /> among the over-expended accounts. <br /> <br /> (d)That budgeted revenue be increased in the amount of $1,343.34 <br /> making total Revenue Budget $42,756.03. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the overall 1973-74 Annual Operating <br /> Budget Ordinance for Agricultural Extension Service, as adopted on July 9, 1973, be <br /> increased from the total of $41,412.59, a net increase of $1,343.34. <br /> <br /> This 9th day of September 1974 <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> ~/ / - NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />.'~/glann Mawfield, ~. <br /> <br /> Attest: <br /> <br /> Clerk td~ the BOard <br /> <br /> <br />
