to the Board of Health with terms expiring December 31, 1977. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hinson made motion to appoint Commissioner Hammett as delegate to <br />Centralina Council of Government with the remaining commissioners serving as alternates. <br />Motion seconded by Commissioner McClary and vote carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Having no futher business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Cler~ to the'Board <br /> <br /> The Board of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in regular session at <br />the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina on Monday, January 6, 1975 at 9:00 A.M. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> Roger G. Hinson <br /> <br /> The invocation was by the Reverend Thomas Hogan of McGill Avenue Baptist Church. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hinson made motion, seconded by Commissioner Milloway and carried, to <br />approve minutes of the meeting of December 2, 1974. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the December 16, 1974, meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hammett made motion to appoint Frank Liske and James Meadows and re-appoint <br />Phillip Carroll to the Recreation Commission for three year terms. Motion seconded by <br />Commissioner Hinson and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Architect Charles Grier presented the final plans for the Mental Health Complex and also <br /> showed drawings of the ambulance satellite station. The Board instructed him to have the <br /> specifications for bids for the construction of the Mental Health Complex and plans for grading <br /> the ambulance building site at the intersection of U. S. 601 and N. C. 49 to present at the <br /> February meeting. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner McClary, seconded by Commissioner Hammett, the following <br /> resolution unanimously carried: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES GALLIMORE was a member of the Board of Commissioners of <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County from December 1970 to December 1974; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Charles Gallimore gave outstanding service to the citizens of <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County during his term as Commissioner, always willingly devoting his energy and <br /> <br /> ability to his duties and responsibilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County desires to <br /> <br /> express its appreciation to Charles Gallimore for his service; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> <br /> County: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Board of Commissioners, on its behalf and on behalf of the <br /> citizens of Cabarrus County, hereby expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to <br /> <br /> <br />
