After a discussion by Hugh Price £or office space for Soil and Water <br /> Conservation, Commissioner Ham~ett made motion to lease office space in the Coca Cola <br /> building on Church Street for one year with an option at the price of $100.00 per <br /> month. Motion seconded by Commissioner McClary and vote carried. <br /> Commissioner Hinson made motion to approve the request for $6,000.00 for an <br /> airport study. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hammett and vote carried. <br />* Chairman Hawfield reported that he had contacted John McClure in Raleigh <br /> regarding a mass transit study for Cabarrus County. He estimated the cost to be <br /> approximately $6,000.00 to $8,000.00. Commissioner Milloway made motion giving per- <br /> mission to secure proposals from three acceptable firms to make a mass transit study. <br /> Motion seconded by Commissioner McClary and vote carried. <br /> The Board discussed a resolution from Johnston County which called for the <br /> continuation of Revenue Sharing. <br /> Commissioner Milloway made motion to appoint Reverend Jon Fogleman to fill the <br /> unexpired term of Frances Keever on the Community Relations Commission.
