The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in special session at <br /> <br />the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina on Tuesday, October 14, 1975 at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> Roger G. Hinson <br /> <br /> The Board accepted and opened the following bids for the Sanitary Sewer Extionsion: <br /> <br /> Company Total Bid <br /> <br /> Propst Construction Co. $129,827.50 <br /> Ben B. Propst Contractor, Inc. 133,245.00 <br /> C. R. Duncan Construction Co., Inc. 135,715.00 <br /> R. D. R., Inc. 145,599.00 <br /> L. A. Reynolds Co. 148,885.00 <br /> L. S. Craver & Son Construction Co. 149,180.00 <br /> Dellinger, Inc. 150,304.70 <br /> P & H Construction Co. 152,660.00 <br /> Johnson-McCown 192,298.44 <br /> <br /> The bids were turned over to Peirson & Whitman for analysis and verification. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield appointed James Weaks to replace C. C. Griffin on the Community <br /> <br />Relations Commission. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hammett and vote carried. <br /> The Board discussed the Child Services System Survey but took no action. <br /> Commissioner Hinson made moiton to award the bid for food for Nutrition for the <br /> Elderly Program to the low bidder, Servomation Corp., provided they meet all the <br /> qualifications. Motion seconded by Cofmmissioner Milloway and unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
